Hi Everybody,On 12/31/23, I officially ended my Old Fart Tool-verified, longer-than-96.57%-of-Amazonians tenure to pursue an external opportunity! For the last eight-and-a-half years I’ve called myself an Amazonian (amongst other things). What started as a Field Sales Market Manager role supporting Amazon Devices in Minneapolis and Detroit, transitioned to a Vendor Manager role in Seattle on the Home Retail team managing the Air Purifiers and Weather Station categories and Deals. I enjoyed Deals so much that I rotated to Program Manager and Product Marketing Manager roles on the ACES Deals Team, where I’ve supported Deal sourcing, troubleshooting, auditing, communications, and more for the past 2 years. Being fully transparent, there are things I will not miss about Amazon, but much more that I will miss. Above all else though, I’m going to miss the awesome group of people I’ve had the pleasure of calling teammates over the past 8.5 years. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have spent 42.5% of my career with everyone I met, or, in WBR terms, “Amazon tenure is 42.5% of career (+70% Job-over-Job) driven primarily by teammate endearment (+550 bps CTC).” I cannot possibly thank everyone individually. So many have played a part in making me who I am, be it recruiting me, hiring me, training me, being trained by me, developing me, mentoring me, being mentored by me, promoting me, frustrating me, getting frustrated by me, working with me, saying hi to me, providing me insights about Amazon’s culture before even applying, and really everything else there is…and I appreciate you all very much because of that.I’m not a fan of “Goodbyes”, so I’m going to delude myself into thinking this isn’t one, and instead state that I sincerely hope this is more of a “see you later”. For now, I’m still in the Seattle area (though working from home), and as many of you know, I’m usually more than willing to meet up for lunch, coffee, or happy hour as time, transportation, and family needs allow.Thank you all for sharing this adventure with me, and I hope to see and hear from you again in the future!P.S. Rather than use stock pics of Amazon shoes hanging, I'm doing my photo with the laptop/badge, but also a few other pieces of swag from my years...including actual Amazon shoes.More to come on my new role...

🏆 New Milestone Unlocked!🚀What a journey it's been!🚀These past three years, I've had the pleasure of working with an incredible Amazon seller who believed in me and our team. The trust I received was unparalleled, and together, we turned that trust into tangible results.💼We began 2021 with a robust $315,000 in sales. We doubled our efforts in 2022, propelling us to $700,000. By 2023, we hit the million-dollar milestone, raking in $1,000,000+ in sales!💰But it's not just about revenue. We also managed to reduce our ACOS from 40% to below 15%. A testament to the efficiency and effectiveness of our team.✅None of this would have been possible without the collective efforts of our team eBrandity. It shows that determination, hard work, and trust can lead to extraordinary results.👏So, I want to ask all my LinkedIn connections - What's your biggest achievement in your professional journey? How did trust play a role in it? #AmazonSeller #SalesGrowth #Teamwork #TrustInBusiness #amazonsellers #amazonfba #amazonppc

Couldn't stay away from Amazon. Making my way back to the beginning at Amazon. June 8th I will become a seasonal hire at SWF1. Going through the recent experiences, I have learned that I am better as an associate. Reason's why I not management material: 1. Focus too much on making the associates happy. 2. Having the knowledge to know what would be best for a productive flow, only to piss off someone higher than me because of that fact. 3. Being able to have the talent to read someone better than most and when trying to make others see got me in trouble. 4. Knowing that I have the ability to multi-task, work like an associate and as a supervisor. 5. Not good at politics. 6. AND LAST BUT BIGGEST.... Let my passion, emotions and frustration get the best of me. I have accomplished things in my positions that people don't want to recognize not sure why. So with that being said SWF1 coming back.

To many people, Amazon Prime is an event where the hottest deals of the summer are put at the forefront of our computer screens. Millions of everyday people resulting in millions of orders being fulfilled all across Amazon and its business units. What does this mean for the millions of Amazon associates working in warehouses? Hard work. Safety prioritization. Pushing and pushing until the bell rings for shift end. Prime can be hectic, it can be at times tiresome, but it can be fun. It’s the very basis in which we show up everyday. Work hard. Have fun. Make history. This Prime, RIC5 had a fully devoted WHS team promoting safety, engaging associates, and being on the floor helping our teams and associates alike, one package at a time. That’s what makes this career fun for people like myself; the engagement. Associates seeing you as a leader working alongside them and encouraging them to be the very best possible while having their back. What I learned specifically? Amazonians are the hardest working group of people I have ever had the opportunity to work alongside of outside of emergency services and contractors. Everyday folks, wanting to make a living, but also enjoying what they do for others.
